Placing a sub drop and an impact

1. Put the impact exactly on the downbeat of the drop and start the sub drop at the same moment, so the hit and the low end arrive together.
2. Tune the sub drop to the track's key, or at least check it doesn't clash with the bass line that comes next.
3. Cut the kick and bass on the first beat of the drop if the sub drop is long, or they will stack into distortion.
4. Use one impact per section change. If every transition has one, none of them stand out.

Can I use these in a release?

Yes. Every sound here comes from a recording released under CC0 1.0 (public domain). Use it in commercial tracks, beats and videos, with no royalties and no credit required. The one thing you can't do is resell the sounds themselves as a sample pack. SOURCES.txt in the ZIP lists the original recording for each file. More on licensing.
