Turning one-shots into a melodic house idea

1. Load a synth one-shot into a sampler, play a simple arpeggio in a minor key and add a long, filtered delay.
2. Slowly open a low-pass filter over 16 or 32 bars. Melodic house builds tension through filter movement more than through new parts.
3. Keep the kick on every beat and the clap on 2 and 4. Put a little room reverb on the clap so it sits behind the synths.
4. Leave space. Two or three good parts that evolve beat ten parts that compete.

Can I use these in a release?

Yes. Every sound here comes from a recording released under CC0 1.0 (public domain). Use it in commercial tracks, beats and videos, with no royalties and no credit required. The one thing you can't do is resell the sounds themselves as a sample pack. SOURCES.txt in the ZIP lists the original recording for each file. More on licensing.
