Building a dubstep drop with these sounds

1. Work at 140 BPM in half-time. The kick goes on beat 1, the snare on beat 3, and there's a lot of space between them.
2. Split the bass in two. Keep a clean sine-like sub below about 100 Hz, and distort, filter or resample only the layer above it.
3. Sidechain the bass to the kick and snare. Even a few milliseconds of ducking makes the drums hit through a wall of bass.
4. Check the drop in mono. Wide bass above the sub is fine, but anything below about 120 Hz should be mono.

Can I use these in a release?

Yes. Every sound here comes from a recording released under CC0 1.0 (public domain). Use it in commercial tracks, beats and videos, with no royalties and no credit required. The one thing you can't do is resell the sounds themselves as a sample pack. SOURCES.txt in the ZIP lists the original recording for each file. More on licensing.
